Driving Environmental Resilience
The Centre for Advisory Counseling and Support Services (CACASS) recently partnered with Happy Trio Limited to collect waste from residential homes. This will allow the organisation to deliver waste management solutions for the environment and climate resilience. The primary waste management challenge in Bungoma, Kenya, is a lack of proper infrastructure for waste collection and disposal, coupled with limited awareness among residents about waste segregation and responsible disposal practices, leading to significant open dumping and environmental pollution.
CACASS is dedicated to keeping communities clean and sustainable through efficient waste collection, sorting, and disposal services and will ensure that every step of the waste management process is handled carefully.
“Focusing on innovation and environmental responsibility, we offer tailored solutions catering to residential, commercial, and industrial needs. Our mission is to manage waste and create a cleaner, greener future for future generations.” Deborah Andanje, Co-founder
CACASS was inspired to provide a solution to manage menstrual waste. However, due to the increasing challenges of other types of waste, the organisation has expanded its mandate to collect, dispose of, and incinerate other wastes, such as used diapers, plastics, and food waste.
